The valley of Leogang is ideal for hiking and mountain-climbing. The scenery is characterized by the gentle hills of the “Pinzgauer Grasberge” mountains to the south and the rugged limestone “Leoganger Steinberge” mountains to the north. The Embachhof is the perfect starting point for beautiful hikes on numerous trails – starting right at your doorstep. In addition, a five minute walk takes you to the cable cars of the “Leoganger Asitzbahnen”. Starting from the top station, the “Saalachtaler Höhenweg” trail leads you across gentle crests with spectacular views of the 3000 meter high “ Hohe Tauern ” mountain range.
